Harmony and Diversity in Asian Art 2020/21

From early 2020, we have had massive changes across all our communities around the world from the Covid 19 pandemic, protests, mass media coverage and their continued effects. However, in the face of plague, conflicts and violent words of 2020, Oriental Art is more accessible to everyone than ever digitally on

To art historians, archaeologists and collaborator researchers on all Asian arts that investigate the nuances of art history across the the globe over the millenia: we opened and extend this 2020/21 call for papers on the broad themes of ‘Harmony and Diversity in Asian Art‘. Let the international study of Asian art demonstrate a celebration of global scholarship, works across media, developments across territories, persistence between reigns, the influences between cultures and art, as well as many more inexhaustible areas of research.

Papers (up to 8,000 words) or commentaries (up to 4,000 words) should be submitted to Abstracts (150 words), References and Figure descriptions should be submitted as separate files.
